ALPSP article

I'm delighted (and rather proud) to say that an article I've written has been published in the ALPSP's special edition of Learned Publishing. The January volume is dedicated to the topic of accessibility and my contribution describes a very successful project that we ran for the national charity, Calibre Audio Library - so successful in fact that we won The Stationers' Company Innovation Excellence Award. The article explains the background to the project, the process that we used for building the app and what it deilvers and you can read about it in full here.

As an aside, having spent so many years on the publisher's side of the fence it was fascinating and, if I'm honest, a bit daunting suddenly being on the author's side. It was a real eye-opener. Perhaps all commissioning and editorial staff should be encouraged to write and publish something - it makes you see the process very differently!!
